Worldline Adds UCP Payment Handler for AI Purchases
Paris based payments company Worldline announced a payment handler for the Universal Commerce Protocol, an open standard developed jointly by Google and industry partners. The integration lets merchants accept purchases initiated by AI across multiple platforms through one setup.
Merchants can declare their payment configuration once and accept card payments, mobile wallets and European payment methods across platforms connected to UCP. Worldline says this is meant to let merchants support new AI purchasing surfaces without building duplicate payment integrations.
The payment handler is available through Worldline's Global Collect platform for cross border payments. Gertjan Dewaele, VP Product and Technology at Worldline Global Commerce, described it as a universal adaptor connecting agentic commerce platforms and merchant backends.
In January, Worldline announced other agentic commerce capabilities and said it was supporting emerging standards including Google's Agent Payments Protocol and UCP with a focus on European regulatory requirements.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
