Anthropic Reports $17 Billion Quarterly Revenue and $895 Billion in Compute Commitments
Anthropic reported $17.0 billion in revenue for the three months ended 30 September, up 1,127% from a year earlier, in an amended IPO registration statement filed with the SEC on 2 November. The filing also shows about $895.4 billion in purchase commitments and leases, substantially all tied to compute and infrastructure.
About $447.5 billion of those commitments is expected to be incurred before the end of 2030, and substantially all of the rest between 2031 and 2045. Roughly $69.8 billion falls due within 12 months of 30 September, Axios reported. Third quarter revenue rose from $11.6 billion in the second quarter, according to Axios, and beat the $16.8 billion figure reported in October.
For the first nine months of 2026, revenue reached $33.2 billion, compared with $2.5 billion a year earlier. Compute and infrastructure costs grew 329% to $18.8 billion over the same period. Anthropic recorded an operating loss of $1.26 billion and a net loss of $104.0 billion. Most of the net loss came from a $94.3 billion change in the fair value of convertible notes, derivative liabilities and simple agreements for future equity, which the company attributes mainly to its rising valuation. The first draft of the filing had shown a first half net loss of more than $80 billion.
Customers paying at least $100,000 a year grew to more than 11,900 and generated $24.5 billion in revenue over the nine months, about 74% of the total. Anthropic held $131.8 billion in cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments at the end of September.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
