Document Crunch Adds Construction Drawing Review to Risk Platform

Oct 21, 2026
Document Crunch can now analyze construction drawings alongside contracts, specifications and other project files to identify scope gaps, conflicts and missing information.

Trimble says in a press release that Document Crunch can now review construction drawings alongside contracts, specifications and other project documents. The capability is available to all Document Crunch users.

CrunchAI extracts and indexes text from drawing sets, including notes, allowances and language that defines project scope. Teams can ask questions across the complete document collection to identify missing sheets, conflicting requirements, scope gaps and unclear responsibilities.

The system provides citations that point to source passages for verification. Teams can move identified issues into standard preconstruction reviews, assign follow up work and track how risks are resolved.
