Google Cloud Adds Anthropic Managed Claude Deployment

Oct 22, 2026
Google Cloud now offers a Claude deployment managed by Anthropic alongside its existing Google managed option. Both provide the same models, pricing and Google Cloud billing.

Google Cloud is making a Claude deployment managed by Anthropic generally available, the company said in a blog post. It joins the existing deployment managed by Google Cloud.

Both options provide access to the same Claude models on day one, with the same pricing and Google Cloud billing. The Anthropic managed option provides immediate access to Claude platform features including Claude Managed Agents (in beta), skills and code execution. Anthropic acts as the data processor, while customers use Google Cloud IAM, Cloud Audit Logging and existing cloud spending commitments.

Under the Google managed option, Google Cloud acts as the data processor under existing customer agreements. It includes VPC Service Controls, customer managed encryption keys and data residency in the United States, European Union and Asia Pacific. New Claude platform features become available after Google integrates them into its infrastructure.
