GSS and Storm Reply Launch Cloud Guardian for Sanctions Platform

Oct 25, 2026
Cloud Guardian uses AI to review proposed infrastructure changes for GSS, reducing release preparation and technical review times while keeping final decisions with engineers.

Global Screening Services (GSS) and Storm Reply launched Cloud Guardian, FF News reported. It is an AI tool that analyzes proposed infrastructure changes for the GSS sanctions screening platform. The system identifies routine changes and flags those that may need closer review, while engineers retain control over final release decisions.

Cloud Guardian reduced preparation time for complex infrastructure releases from about two days to less than four hours. Individual technical reviews fell from about 30 minutes to roughly three minutes, with engineers focusing on issues identified by the AI instead of reviewing every line manually.

Storm Reply built the tool on AWS with GSS engineers and integrated it into the company’s existing release workflow. GSS did not need to replace its infrastructure tools or add a separate review process.
