Queensland Moves to Criminalise AI-Generated Intimate Images
The Queensland government introduced legislation to make it a crime to create non-consensual intimate images or audio using digital technology, including AI-generated images and "nudify" apps, it said in a statement. The proposed offence would carry a maximum penalty of three years' imprisonment.
The bill covers images that are digitally altered or created entirely with digital tools, including simulated people who closely resemble an identifiable real person. Attorney-General Deb Frecklington said the law closes a loophole that let offenders create deepfake sexual images without consent, which the government said had been used to bully students and teachers in Queensland schools.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
