Ricursive releases Ripple 65B Preview coding model under Apache 2.0

Ricursive Intelligence released Ripple 65B Preview, an open coding model that it says leads US models on two major benchmarks.

Ricursive Intelligence has released Ripple-65B Preview, an open-weights coding model under the Apache 2.0 license, VentureBeat reports. The company claims it scores higher than any other U.S. open model on Terminal-Bench 2.1 and SWE-bench Pro v2.0 Hard.

The model has 65 billion parameters and was trained from scratch on 12 trillion tokens. Ricursive calls it "a general-purpose variant of the proprietary model that powers our AI chip design platform." It is available on Hugging Face and through API partners including Together AI, GMI Cloud and OpenRouter.

The lead is narrow and selective. On Terminal-Bench, Ripple sits about 0.4 percentage points ahead of Reflection's Beam, and Meta scores 60.0 against Ripple's 44.3 on DeepSWE. Ricursive's founders, Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini, helped create Google's AlphaChip, and the company raised a $300 million Series A at a $4 billion valuation in January.
