CMG Launches DataLab MCP Server for Equity Capital Markets Data

Capital Markets Gateway launches a DataLab MCP server that lets selected clients query equity capital markets data through compatible AI tools.

Capital Markets Gateway (CMG) launches its DataLab Model Context Protocol server in early access for selected clients, the company said in a press release. The server lets clients query equity capital markets data with natural language through compatible AI tools.

DataLab contains more than 20 years of deal records from over 50 regions. Its coverage includes initial public offerings, follow on offerings, block trades, accelerated bookbuilds, convertible offerings, rights issuances and private investments in public equity.

The server provides read only access, uses OAuth 2.0 authentication and applies each client's existing DataLab permissions. CMG plans to expand access to more clients and AI platforms after the early access period.
