Cognition Expands London Presence After UK Team Grows More Than 200%
Cognition is expanding its London presence after growing its UK team by more than 200% over the past six months, the company announced in a press release. The office will support customer engagement, solutions engineering, research and development, partnerships and commercial operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The Access Group has deployed Cognition's Devin software engineering agent to more than 2,000 engineers working across 250 products in the UK. Cognition says the deployment contributed to a fivefold increase in merged pull requests and made some legacy software migration tasks up to 480 times faster.
Cognition also appointed Narry Singh as senior managing director and Aman Thind as field chief technology officer for financial services. Singh previously held senior roles at AlixPartners and Accenture Digital, while Thind held technology leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase and State Street.
