Coreline Soft Receives FDA Clearance for Aortic CT Analysis Software

Oct 23, 2026
The FDA has cleared AVIEW Aorta Metrics, which automatically segments the aorta and measures its diameter from chest CT images.

Coreline Soft received US Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for AVIEW Aorta Metrics on October 16, the company said in a press release. The clearance is the company's 13th under the FDA pathway.

The software automatically segments the aorta from chest CT images, classifies anatomical zones and measures the diameter of each zone. It also provides straightened curved planar reformation, cross sectional and three dimensional views, and analysis reports.

The clearance adds aortic assessment to Coreline Soft's US portfolio, which already includes software for lung nodule detection and coronary artery calcium analysis. The company will present its AVIEW products at RSNA 2026 in Chicago from November 29 to December 3.
