Qualcomm Plans Global Job Cuts After Performance Reviews
Qualcomm Technologies will cut jobs worldwide following its annual performance reviews, according to Tom's Hardware, citing a Reuters report. The company expects to begin notifying affected employees in November.
CEO Cristiano Amon described the cuts as focused on employees who have consistently fallen short of expectations. Qualcomm has not disclosed the number of positions or departments affected. The company employed about 52,000 people at the end of its 2025 fiscal year.
