Ropes & Gray is developing a proprietary tool with OpenAI to conduct the first document review in transactional diligence, as detailed in an OpenAI customer story. The initial work focuses on material commercial contracts.

The tool inventories and categorizes documents in a data room, groups related materials by theme and issue, and generates summaries and a report in the law firm's format. Lawyers can inspect the categories, interim summaries and source documents before delivering work to clients.

Ropes & Gray tested the system by comparing its output with reports written by lawyers for completed transactions. The firm then refined the review framework and report format based on errors and omissions in the drafts.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
