Tallia raises €4 million for AI tax research platform
Tallia, formerly known as Revax, raised €4 million ($4.5 million) in seed funding, according to EU-Startups. The round was jointly led by Outward VC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, with participation from Portfolio Ventures, Expedite Capital and angel investors.
Founded in 2025 by Jack Mander and Alexander Bartlam, Tallia provides AI research and drafting software for tax and accountancy professionals. Its retrieval system connects generated responses with legislation, regulatory guidance and case law, while review tools let senior staff examine the supporting evidence.
The platform can also use a firm's documents, contracts, templates and previous work. It supports workflows in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Tallia will use the funding to expand adoption among tax and accountancy firms.
