TÜV SÜD and Accenture Present Physical AI Safety Suite

Oct 21, 2026
The Physical AI Safety Suite uses digital twins and simulations to assess industrial robots before deployment. TÜV SÜD estimates the process could bring production online up to 30% sooner.

In a joint press release, TÜV SÜD and Accenture introduced a Physical AI Safety Suite concept for assessing automated factories and warehouses. The companies are presenting the concept at NVIDIA GTC Berlin 2026 using technologies from NVIDIA.

The suite digitizes parts of facility assessment and certification preparation through digital twins, AI agents and simulations. It checks industrial layouts, robotic fleet behavior and individual robots before physical deployment, including routes, clearances, worker interaction zones and operating conditions.

The system uses NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, the Cosmos world model platform and Isaac Sim to generate safety scenarios and evidence packages for review. During operation, NVIDIA Halos and IGX Thor can combine robot data with facility cameras to identify hazards outside an individual robot's view.

TÜV SÜD retains responsibility for independent assessment and certification, including checks against standards such as ISO 3691-4. The organization estimates the digital process could bring production online up to 30% sooner by identifying safety and certification issues before equipment installation.
