HOL Guard checks AI coding agents' risky actions before they run

Oct 21, 2026
HOL says its open-source Guard runtime can pause or block risky actions by AI coding agents before they run.

HOL describes HOL Guard as a local checkpoint for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. According to the company, Guard can allow, ask about or block covered actions before they run, including destructive shell commands, access to secrets, software installs and risky MCP server configurations, and it keeps a record of what happened. HOL says its core Guard Local runtime is open source under the Apache-2.0 licence and runs on the user's own machine.

HOL also runs HOL Plugins, a registry of plugins and MCP servers whose listings show a trust score and whether the owner is verified. The company says the score weighs security, MCP posture, installability and maintenance.

The description comes from HOL's own pages. The company names no customers and gives no usage figures. Guard is free to start, with paid Solo, Pro and Team plans.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
