LeadDesk is working with QuTwo and AMD Silo AI to build language models for European customer service operations, starting with Nordic languages, AMD detailed in a company blog post. The models are intended to handle regional accents, local names, numbers, and conversational context.

The open stack runs on AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe cards and ROCm software. AMD supplies computing infrastructure and engineering support, while QuTwo provides model compression technology and LeadDesk supplies conversational data and distributes the models through its platform.

The companies use open weight models that can be tuned for specific languages, tasks, and workloads. LeadDesk plans to offer capabilities including guidance for customer service agents and voice AI that can operate in European languages on locally controlled infrastructure.
